WELCOME

Welcome to the Gîte Le Clevimar, a holiday cottage run by Évelyne and René with the help of their children. Fully refurbished by local craftsmen in April 2016, this detached house with garden stands in one of the peaceful villages of the Munster Valley – between the plains of Alsace and the Vosges mountains. It offers enough space to host 8 to 10 people, in a quiet and comfortable environment.

Located in a diverse valley, with enough on offer to cater for many holiday experiences (active, gourmet, relaxing, entertaining, etc.), we welcome all those who wish to discover our beautiful region and partake in activities such as walking, hiking, cycling, skiing, Nordic walking and motorcycling.

We live nearby and are always on hand to give you help and advice regarding the different activities on offer, the restaurants worth a visit and the best of the region.

Situated at an altitude of 500m, the house is in a peaceful location, below the Vosges mountains. You will be no more than 7km from Munster, the valley's major town; 25km from the closest market town of Colmar, with its beautiful Christmas markets; and 20km from the Wine Route (known as “La Route des Vins”).

Ideally located between the plains of Alsace and the Vosges mountain range, you will have easy access to the best attractions of the region and its surroundings: Gérardmer's lake, the Wine Route, some of the most picturesque villages in France (Riquewihr, Eguisheim, Kaysersberg, etc.), as well as Colmar, Freiburg and Strasbourg.
